It's SUMMER TIME! Frolic, fun and play are in order. The book of the month is

5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. This book captures the essence of having fun, frolicking and playing! It is also a great way to teach the verb “jump” along many other verbs in the book. And of course, these words require movement which is a great tool for language development, as we have learned and discussed.

This month we are focusing on developing communication skills via movement. The language concepts for our theme are:

VERBS: fell, jump, bump, call,

PEOPLE: mama, doctor, brother, sister

VOCABULARY: phone, bed

NUMBERS/COUNTING: 1-5
